We are working on integrating OpenStreetMap, and just yesterday launched some upgrades, e.g.
https://duckduckgo.com/?q=Valley+Forge%2C+PA
or
https://duckduckgo.com/?q=black+lab+bistro
(map in right column expands to view). This goes with address detection (
https://duckduckgo.com/?q=3+ames+st%2C+boston%2C+ma
) and you can always force an OSM query by adding map to the end. And of course adding !gm will take you right to Google Maps.

Problem with OSM is that it's nowhere near as complete as Google Maps, and I don't see it growing the way Wikipedia did (contributing to Wikipedia is much easier than contributing to OSM)
