While interesting, this appears to be purely correlative. Speculation about causal effects is fun, but it could be that people who stay on top of their vaccines are also just more on top of their health in general, and thus less likely to develop Alzheimer's.


The complexity of Alzheimer's disease and other neurodegenerative diseases is extremely interesting. I hope research continues in novel directions away from previously failed hypotheses.


just going to throw this out here without any basis or evidence: I think it's cats. too much exposure to cats and their parasites, and there's an Alzheimers in the mail
