I am a lead software engineer with over 20 years of experience in many different industries. Most recently I was the first then primary engineer leading a startup to a successful exit. I am a polyglot with experience in several languages - I am an expert in a language I would like to move away from. Most recently I have been focused on TS/JS but with the opportunity I can become proficient in any language and would love to expand my experience. I am especially interested in typed and/or functional languages. I am most interested in backend positions, but I am experienced in frontend and devops. I may be interested in data science positions - I have a strong SQL and relational DB background. I enjoy being the bridge between business and product, understanding the problem and working together to find a solution. I have a more written about my background and outlook in my resume.
