I suspect Kagi aims to corner the premium market. The 300 searches will probably get discounted. But I don’t think they should nor will discount unlimited searches + AI.

I'm not going to play the guess your usage game.

They can give me the best rate with a cap or I'll wait for the competitor to show up. Duckduckgo is fine enough for now.

I feel the same way, I'm not going to count my searches, and I don't want to start guessing whether this search is important enough to use Kagi for.

Nobody wants a three dollar customer. They'll complain, ask for special features, do chargebacks on their payments etc.
