It's even more annoying when hearing it about health care.

And it's even more annoying when people use it to say that open source is bad.

renewiltord did not claim education provided at CCSF is low quality because it is free.

However, the barrier to entry to a higher education entry is commonly used as a proxy for the quality of the student coming out of the higher education institution.

Someone who is good at learning can just learn for free, only someone who is not confident in their abilities would pay for the name of a college attached to a degree (with likely less actual skills transferred, because paid colleges depend on throughput, not on results). The actually good students at paid colleges are the ones who got a academic scholarship, i.e. free like community college.

You're right and I read your comment history and really enjoyed the fact that you often correctly comprehend other posters who others pile onto. Pretty interesting about language comprehension. Love to see it.
