You cannot look at any American institution without seeing something that Reagan destroyed. His legacy has had lasting detrimental impacts to this day. Just some examples are the privatization of Colleges, the privatization of healthcare, the near annihilation of labor unions, he ignored the AIDS epidemic for years, his mental health reforms made homeless and crime exponentially worse... Watergate, Iran-Contra and the overthrowing of Sandinista in Nicaragua. All issues of which persist to this day. He is also the sole reason that we do not have national health insurance.

Thats not even touching the corruption, lobbying scandals, the grant rigging, the EPA scandals, the 160 billion dollar in "charity" given to banks to bail them out, Operation Ill Wind etc... You could fill books with this mans horrific legacy and its lasting detrimental impact on society. If you can trace the root of our modern problems to one man it would be Reagan.
