Have past BLS predictions proved accurate?

But wasn't the BLS the organization that Trump fired and replaced all the leaders of recently, for putting out (accurate) reports that made him look bad?


Yes in the long term. Sometimes they will get surprised by unexpected events (Covid) but you can’t blame them when their tourism and hospitality numbers are wildly wrong when that happens.


Relatively accurate (I think they're pretty close like 70%+ of the time). Significantly better than just projecting that the next five years will be like the last 5 years.
